- Randy Lahey: Geoff became an especially self-righteous ass after Chris DeGarmo left. By the time QR split with Tate, he took credit for EVERYTHING the band had ever accomplished. Reality check, Geoff wasn't even "officially" part of QR from its very beginning. He bolted his band Myth (also featuring Kelly Gray) when he saw a better opportunity to hitch his wagon to Queensryche. So, it was never all about Geoff Tate. DeGarmo's departure exposed Geoff's limitations as a songwriter. Every QR album thereafter was worse than the one before. Why? Because Geoff insisted on controlling most everything in the band and locked out the rest of the guys. That is why Scott, Michael, and Eddie dumped him. Eventually, we all get what's coming to us.
- Randy Lahey: I can't see that happening. A lot of animosity there. Perhaps there'd be a chance if Chris DeGarmo were onboard and it was a very limited run. Again, that is hard to imagine though.
